Abstract
This study tries to examine place in Zuhayr b.Abi Sulma's poetry through different topics.It deals with place and the poet, place and women, place and the praised person, place and survival, and finally place and different topics.The study concludes that place represents a semantic dimension that fits in with the poem's visions, and that the poet could successfully exploit place phenomenon.
